Don't you just love the snow?! If not, I hope you don't live in Utah. I love, love, love it and I've been spending a lot of time in it lately. On Monday, my friend, Meghan, asked me if I wanted to go snow shoeing with her and her friends from Dixie. This seemed like a win-win to me seeing as how I really needed to get out of my house and do something and also because I haven't seen Meghan since highschool (actually, we did randomly run into eachother at IKEA one day, but that was completely random. It shouldn't really count...). We had to drive to Highland where her friends live and there I met Chad, Garrett, and Dallin. It was about 6:00 when we left Chad's house to go on our little rendezvous. We drove up to the mountain and when we got to the trail, the sun was down completely, but thanks to the almost-full moon we could see everything. We hiked about a mile (which feels like five miles when you have snowshoes to drag along!) and then stopped in a meadow to have some hot chocolate. It was fun to meet those guys. They were hilarious and they kept asking me to tell them stories. It was so great to catch up with Meghan. She is adorable!

That wasn't the only snow fun I had this week, though. On Tuesday, my brother, his friend, his friend's nephew, and I went snowboarding at Wolf Mountain. It's not a huge resort, but we had fun. We stayed there from 1 until 8! I was absolutely exhausted Wednesday, but it was definitely worth it! There's something exhilarating about carving a newly polished board into the side of a mountain or attempting to hit a jump that makes me yearn for more! I can't wait until I can go again!

Love? Love? Love? Crap! I live in Utah, and I only sort of LIKE the snow and that's even conditional. It has to be outside and I'm inside. :)
