I have a myspace, and I usually don't blog on there, but for some weird reason I decided to last night. I thought it was a pretty decent blog, so I'm going to post it on here as well. Enjoy!

I know I have another blog that I could write this on, but what the heck. Today I'm blogging on here.
I love quotes. I think that quotes are a simple way of learning the lessons from influential people of the world. I'm what people would call a quote-addict. Here are some of my favorites.

This quote reminds me of the importance of building a strong character. It reminds me that I should be more concerned with who I am than by who I know. A man may know millions, but until he knows himself, he can't help anyone.

"You can only think as deep as your vocabulary allows you to."
I heard this at a leadership conference I attended last year. I don't remember the name of the man who said it, but I still find power in those words. I want to know the word that BEST describes what I see or the word that completely clarifies my feelings. I hope to be able to expand my vocabulary so that I can, in effect, expand my thoughts.

In a world where divorce seems to be the easy way out, this quote reminds me to have faith in marriage. Love is a choice and where there's a will there's a way. I believe a couple can resolve any problem they have and that their love can last for a long time--a VERY long time.

Amen to that. I love the part about asking. If you let the fear of rejection keep you from asking a question, you'll never know if the answer could have been yes. Sometimes all you need to do is ask.

I have tons of quotes I love too! It is impossible for me to choose a favorite. I love Eleanor Roosevelt. I think she knows what she's talking about. Her most famous quote is: No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
I also love Maya Angelou. I think she's one tough lady with a compassionate heart. The quote I have from her on my classroom wall is: Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with shades of deeper meaning.
One of my favorite quotes is "To love another person is to see the face of God." That is from Les Miserables.
I also like "In this life there is nothing but possibilities." Lucas says that in Empire Records. :)
You know me, I'm like you. I love quotes too!! Between the two of us we could fill dozens of pages with them!
Kamilla, I love all these quotes. The first quote is my favorite as well :) I remember when you introduced me to it!
I like this quote too:

But Thanks I can't wait to see your hair :]Well I got my grades remember how I wanted a 4.0 Well i didn't get it but I was close, the -A's in math and english stopped me from that but I did my best and thats all ya can do :] so i'm happy with it
